– Educational and Entertainment based films will be screened on October 5,6,7,8, and 12
Jalandhar, 10 Sept, 2015 (bharatsandeshnews)District Administration and Children’s Film Society of India jointly going to organize a five Day Children`s Film Festival commencing from October 5th 2015 at Jalandhar during which educational and entertainment based films will be screened at various Cinema houses of Jalandhar City.
Addressing a meeting of various departments and representatives of Cinema Houses ADC (G) Mr. Girish Dayalan revealed that during this five day Children`s Film Festival educational and entertainment based films will be screened on October 5,6,7,8 and 12 at various Cinema houses in the city including Big Cinema, PVR Cinema, Sarb Cinema, Laxmi Cinema and Mehak Cinema.
ADC instructed the School Education authorities to depute teachers for participation of students in the festival so that more and more students should be benefitted from the festival. He also directed the concerned authorities to make a proper schedule for film festival so that the event can be organized in a disciplined and smooth manner. Children’s Film Society of India`s representative Mr. Ashok Kumar revealed that the films would be screened as per the availability of screens at the cinema houses.
District Guidance Counselor Mr. Surjit Lal, Deputy DEO Mr. Rajesh Sharma and officers from other departments and representatives of various cinema houses were also present during the meeting.
